Are you looking for a place to volunteer that actually makes a difference?

Well, you’ve found it. Memphis Food Not Bombs is active and meeting weekly, volunteering regularly with other orgs, and making and serving food.

We also have Narcan training and supplies, and access to Plan B emergency contraceptive. If someone you know needs a ride to an abortion appointment, we may be able to figure that out too.

We Need Some Donations.

Memphis FNB has a big feed coming up, and there are some supplies we need. We plan on serving at least 150 people, and there’s lots to cook.

Our planned menu includes corn bread, sauteéd veggies, mashed potatoes, veggie chili, and rice and beans.

To make that happen, we’re asking for:

• 40 lbs potatoes

• non-dairy milk

• vegan butter

• Jiffy vegetarian corn bread mix

• crushed tomatoes

• onions

• cayanne pepper

• okra

• corn

• garlic

• salt

• chili powder

• paprika

• ground cumin
